We presented Corey with they type of music we wanted that ranged from Latin, to Sicilian, to a mix of old, new, and traditional. He was able to deliver exactly that and more for us! The dance floor was packed the entire night!!! That's what makes for an awesome wedding reception!! He was proffessional yet down to earth,very charismatic, and really can read the crowd, to move from song to song, and was great with announcements and reminders that needed to be made throughout the evening. We had the pleasure of having him DJ a company Christmas party as well, and will no doubht use him again for any big parties or events! "Corey was just great to work with from start to finish. He came to our house for the both the initial meeting and the meeting about 4 weeks before the wedding, which made it easy while we were so busy. He was very well prepared for both meetings and really made us feel like we were in good hands. He has a huge amount of music electronically, but also brings a back up system AND CDs to his events ("Just in case"). He took our suggestions and gave us his own feedback about music and the order of the reception. He wanted the wedding to be an expression of our style, while still keeping people on the dance floor, having fun! The day of the wedding, Corey was very professional, took care of organizing everything for the introduction. He even had a Plan B for someone to do the Blessing for dinner when my Pastor was running late to the reception due to an emergency. The dinner music was great. It was music we both really liked. It was loud enough that some people were up and dancing between the salad and the main course, but throughout the whole night, the music was at a level where people who weren't dancing could have a conversation, which was important to us. Once dinner, the formal dances and the cake were done, we just had the best time. People danced all night! During the reception, guests were commenting that the music was really good. I heard "I love this song" a lot - and most of the time it was to music we had not specifically requested! Corey was truly a professional. He took control of the process, but did not make it about himself - it was about us and our day through the whole process. We would highly recommend Corey and the Art of Sound to anyone for any event. Thank you, Corey, for helping to make our wedding day so special and so much fun!!!"
